During my previous 8 years in the golf industry, I have never used anything like Trackman when giving lessons, or fitting golfers for the right set of clubs. Trackman technology provides the most accurate feedback in the industry. The numbers are divided into 2 main categories, ball flight data and club data. This is achieved because there are two radar systems built into the machine that measures these types of data. Knowing your Trackman numbers is essential to understand and improve your golf swing. Since starting at Westridge, I have been working closely with Simon analysing my data. I feel this is essential in order for me to improve my swing and get a better ball flight. Whatever your level, all golfers can benefit from using Trackman as part of their training when having a lesson. Working on your golf swing and the resulting ball flight through your numbers, allows problem areas to be identified faster, which then results in faster improvement in your game. This data also is the best when performing a custom fit session for a new set of clubs. This is because we can optimise performance by taking out all of the outside conditions such as rain, wind, and terrain. By doing this, you will get the best club make up for you swing in all types of conditions. Here at Westridge, we have plenty of custom fit options available such as Taylormade, Titleist, Ping, Callaway, Cobra, Srixon, and Mizuno.
