With all but the Oak leaves off the trees, the course takes on quite a different character at this time of year. The introduction of the alternative tee’s, also adds to a different challenge.

This week saw the return of the Air 2G2, a machine that injects 5 bar of air pressure, 12″ down into the soil structure. Not only does this operation supply much-needed air, direct to the root system, but helps drainage, by creating spaces within the soil structure. This also releases locked up nutrient, which becomes available to the grass plant.

To extend the use of golf trolleys on the course, I would ask that all golfers to use paths where ever possible. Please observe all staked/roped/hooped areas and keep trolleys off Greens/Tee’s/Surrounds and Collars. Thank you.
